On the trail
What it's like underfoot
The Three Capes Track is generally very good underfoot. It is a well-maintained trail rather than a rough or technical wilderness track, so most of the walking is on firm, compacted surfaces, gravel, natural earth and timber boardwalks. You may encounter occasional muddy or wet sections after rain.
