Born and raised in Geelong, Marcus first caught the travel bug at 18, spending six months as an outdoor activity instructor in Wales. What began as a brief stint abroad turned into a 16-year odyssey based in Riga, Latvia, where he founded a specialised walking and cycling tour company.
Since returning to Australia, Marcus has honed his expertise in operations management within the cycling tourism sector. An avid hiker, biker, and birder, his adventures have taken him from the van-life trails of New Zealand to the rugged landscapes of Georgia, Iran, and Japan.
Now based in Melbourne, Marcus is keen to leverage his deep logistical knowledge and European expertise to craft exceptional trail experiences across the UK for RAW Travel guests.
