Sport, outdoor recreation, climbing and instructing have always been important elements of life for Jonnie. Now a qualified International Mountain Leader based in southeast France, he specialises in RAW’s TMB and Alps itineraries, using his diverse skills to adapt seamlessly to any wilderness environment.

Jonnie has a rich background leading major charity treks and school expeditions across global destinations, including Morocco, Nepal, and Jordan. Driven by a profound sense of adventure, he continuously challenges himself to grow as an outdoor professional and deliver exceptional, safe experiences for all his groups.

As well as leading treks for RAW, Jonnie is passionate about learning through discovery, believing that connecting with local mountain cultures and the people he meets along the way is what truly makes a journey unforgettable. When Jonnie is not guiding treks in the Alps or Pyrenees, you’ll find him out in the wilderness walking, climbing, and exploring with his partner, son, and their Australian Shepherd.
