Not only sex related business but also gambling, restaurants shops and other business thrive in these streets that are very known for the hostess and host clubs. Although prostitution in Japan is illegal many legal holes and loose enforcement have not affected the sex industry. Prostitution can only be prosecuted if there is coitus involved. All other kinds of paid sexual activity cannot be prosecuted under the Anti Prostitution law approved in 1956.

Can I book a Japan Extension without booking a RAW Japan Hike or E-Bike tour?

Our Japan extensions are only bookable in conjunction with a RAW Travel Japan hike or e-bike tours.

Can my friend who is not doing a RAW Japan hike or e-bike tour join me on a Japan Extension?

Japan Extensions are only bookable by clients who are booked on a RAW Travel Japan hike or e-bike tour.

Do I have to pay an additional deposit to book a Japan Extension?

Yes, an additional $250 per person deposit is required to book a Japan Extension, on top of the deposit for your main tour.

What are the cancellation fees if I cancel my Japan Extension?

Cancellation charges are as per the RAW Travel Booking Terms
