About This Tour

See the sights and the heights of Nepal and the Himalayas, from handlebar altitude. The ride of a lifetime for anyone who likes getting on their bike.

We're extremely proud of this cycle tour, which cuts through the heart of the wonderland that is the Nepalese Himalayas. Even though this is open to anyone who can ride a bike with a basic level of fitness, please be warned: you will be left breathless by what are arguably the best scenic views in the world.

You'll cycle through an exciting cross section of Nepal, taking in rustic villages, ancient cities and magnificent temples. You won't have to off-road it too much, but you will get to go off the beaten track to see hidden settlements and outposts stuck in a time all of their own.

There are some simply amazing downhills on your ride, which are as stimulating to the senses as they are easy on the legs. The surrounding landscape of the Everest, Annapurna and other ranges seem surreal and they provide a backdrop that's far better than any of the world's professional cycle tours.

During rest time and evenings, dive into the life of the Nepalese middle hills for a refreshing experience of endearing local people and a fascinating culture that's many centuries old. You'll rest your head in charming little hotels and guest houses, carefully selected for superb service and stunning views.

This is an "all-included" adventure - from the inspired accommodation and delicious food, right through to cycling guides, vehicle support and well maintained bikes that are guaranteed. All you have to do is pedal and enjoy!

The advantages of bar ends (handle bar extensions):
These allow you to have more than one riding position when sitting on the bike for several hours at a time.

Cleat pedals (SPDs):
If you use cleat (SPD) pedals; bring them with you to attach to the bike. These allow for greater efficiency as you are clipped in allowing you to both push and pull on each pedal stroke. This gives increased power and makes uphill sections easier. Alternatively bring pedal straps/cages.
