About This Tour
There is much more to Cambodia than the temples at Angkor - and you'll get to see the very best of it on this five day Bike Cambodia trip.
The huge ancient city of Angkor Wat is a well travelled attraction in Cambodia. But if your taste is for much more than temples, you'll love this cross country cycling adventure through the less travelled, totally enchanting, cultural treasures of a land that time forgot.
By bike is simply the best way to explore Cambodia (motor vehicles are as rare as westerners outside the capital). You'll peddle past a diversity of landscapes - ancient ruins, mighty rivers, beautiful beaches, rice paddies, mountainous national parks and abandoned French hill stations all on our Bike Cambodia route. Eagerly hospitable welcome you get from village locals will be an experience you never forget.

On this Bike Cambodia trip you'll head into the rural heartland of the country and quaint, quiet villages, before hitting a bounty of beaches on the southern coast. Outside of Phnom Penh traffic is light, so you can look forward to going back in time as you mostly share the roads with bullock carts and other cyclists.
Much of our ride is along an enjoyable flat terrain, on a mixture of sealed roads and wide dirt trails that are suitable for most levels of cyclist. The trip is fully supported by an air-conditioned vehicle, so your rest breaks happen whenever you want them to.
Cambodian hotels are not the best in the world, but we've chosen the most comfortable especially to make sure your time asleep is as fulfilling as your time in the saddle. The food of Cambodia bears flavours as distinctive as the land and you'll be re-energized with great cuisine after your ride each day. Our last stop is the beach capital of Cambodia, Sihanoukville, where you can extend on your holiday for a relaxing beach break.
The right people on the right trip
It's important that you select a trip that is suitable to your experience abilities and expectations. In order to help people assess whether a trip is the right one for you it's vital that you download and read our trip notes before booking. In the trip notes you'll find descriptions of the accommodation, food and difficulty rating for each trip.

Testimonials
"The experiences in the rural areas were more than one could ever wish for. The ride itself was fantastic and I have to say I can't fault the trip one bit. Not only were my expectations fulfilled but I also gained more out of the experience than I ever though imaginable".
"I had an absolute ball. I can't wait to do it again. Great organisation, team work, fun and amazing cultural experiences. One trip I will remember for a life time."
Including a 4-day cycling trip as part of a 12-day family holiday in Cambodia enhanced our overall travel experience. Cycling was a fantastic was to see a new country; the people we met and the places we saw would not have been possible if travelling by any other means. A big thank you to the team at Raw, in particular to Sokhom and his team in Cambodia, for helping create one of the best holidays I have had!
