Welcome to the RAW Edge!

RAW edge trips travel to remote locations and countries off the beaten track. Ladakh otherwise known as Little Tibet is an extraordinary region high in the Indian Himalayas. The Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea is well known to most Australians who tackle this walking track through the Owen Stanley ranges. In Europe the Mt. Blanc circuit is arguably the most spectacular walk in the European Alps.
This is where we showcase some of our remote destinations or unusual journeys. If you're a traveller that likes to break away from the mainstream then this is the right page for you. The RAW edge takes you to places that are a bit more remote or they could be challenging trips because of the nature of the activity.

So if you're inclined to living on the the edge you'll know it's a fun place to be, the rewards are greater and so it is with travel. We're currently working on a few new destinations so expect to see more more trips appearing here in the near future.

Welcome first to Ladakh one of our favourite destinations in the world. Nestled in a high altitude desert realm, between the Himalayas and the Tibetan plateau at the far north of the Indian subcontinent, Ladakh and its people will stay in your heart and mind forever. It is an extraordinary land, full of stark dramatic landscapes, with many cultural links to Tibet and steeped in Buddhist traditions. The most commonly applied names for Ladakh are 'Little Tibet' and 'the last Shangri La' and once you've seen the amazing landscapes and culture of Ladakh it is hard to disagree.
