Angela McLean

Angela McLean
Angela McLean is Raw Travel's specialist in Australia's wonderful Great Ocean Walk and the Tour du Mont Blanc, along with the day to day running of Raw Travel's engine room.

Angela started her working career in the world of numbers as an accountant. It wasn't long though, before she pursued her dream of working in the travel industry and left the finance days behind. Starting in corporate travel several years ago and then moving into groups and events, Angela has been lucky to see many wonderful places around the world, Peru and Ecuador being two of her favourites.

After a bit of a bump in the road, Angela decided it was time to really challenge herself both physically and mentally and embarked on her first Charity Challenge with us. In 2004 she rode her bike around Vietnam on the Tour for a Cure Challenge and raised money for the Cancer Council Victoria. This experience was so rewarding that in 2006 she completed in a second Challenge - the Amazing Race, travelling around Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, again raising funds for the Cancer Council Victoria.

Along with her love of the outdoors, quirky movies and all things Italian, Angela was fortunate to join the Raw Travel team in 2007 where she is able to continue to work in the area of adventure travel, her true passion!
